The sea view from the Double Room is quite impressive, especially with the sunrise. Proximity to the beach makes it easy to enjoy leisurely walks along the coast.
The WiFi connection might as well be a myth. it never made it to the room. No toiletries were found in the bathroom except for some hand soap, leaving us totally unprepared. The shower water barely warmed up, making it a challenge to feel refreshed. To top it off, the lack of chairs or drying racks in the room meant tossing clothes on the floor, and I didn't see any emergency pull cord in the shower—definitely something that could be an issue with mobility concerns. It’s also tightly packed up three flights of narrow stairs, so if you're hauling luggage, prepare for a trek, and noise from the pub below might keep you from catching any decent sleep.

Can't recommend highly enough for a stopover
Spacious room, modern bathroom, complete with a large shower and a lovely view from the bay window where you could enjoy the fresh air. plus, a fantastic communal kitchen was a great bonus, making it easy to prepare light meals during our two-night stay.
Not a single complaint.

This was just a top selection for a passing visit in Ryde with very good value for money. I arrived early and after a quick drink at the bar, I was able to access my room. Make sure to check if the room is ready upon arrival to avoid delays.

The room was lovely and clean with a fabulous view! Super convenient location by transport links makes exploring a breeze. I adored having my own little kitchen space. so charming!
I felt like a sardine in my room—room service? More like room sardine! And, oh dear, did I mention the shower pressure? It was a trickle!

Solo Traveler's Delight
The room was absolutely gorgeous with a lovely view and I spent most evenings at the bar where the staff treated me like family. They even remembered my friend's wedding and asked me how it went which made me feel right at home.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but the experience was still worth every penny.

The live music below can be quite loud at night. Clean room with great sea view. Easy access to the bar and local shops nearby. My stay involved some noise issues, but the atmosphere in the pub was friendly.

We had a lovely stay at The Veteran Hotel & Bar! The room was spacious and had a cozy corner with a flat-screen TV where we could relax after a day of exploring. The staff were incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home, which was perfect for our family with small kids. Plus, the location was just a short walk to the beach, and there were plenty of family-friendly dining options nearby!
The noise from the bar downstairs was sometimes a bit much at night.

The rooms offer a stunning sea view, making morning coffee tastes better with those waves crashing. The hotel has a well-equipped shared kitchen, perfect for late-night snacking without heading out.
Noise from the bar below can be a torment, especially on weekends when karaoke goes late into the night. Water pressure in the shower leaves something to be desired, making that invigorating start to the day a bit of a struggle. Stability's also lacking. Lastly, the shared bathrooms occasionally felt a bit cramped during peak times.
